As we prepare to return to school everyone is also trying to get settled into their home whether they are leaving the area or relocating from another area.

The rental market can go up and down, depending on the time of year and what is going on in the local area. As you know, real estate is LOCAL and currently inventory is low and prices are up.  So, in order to get your property rented quickly there are a few things to consider.

The first thing is price. There are things to consider when pricing your home.  For example: Your expenses such as taxes and insurance.

The second thing: You really need to have a separate account for unexpected expenses (maintenance and repairs) and not mix the proceeds with other funds.

Other things to consider are curb appeal, which is important, and current photos are a MUST.  Be sure to post on social media and other sites such as Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com, etc. so that you can reach more people.
