With Permanent Change of Station (PCS) season just around the corner, I’m going to address property management services for those of you who are thinking about renting your home and don’t want the headache of doing it yourself.

First, let me introduce myself:  My name is Joanie Pape!

I grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and have lived in Navarre, Florida for 30 years.  I got my real estate license in 2005 and have been a residential property manager since 2013.  If you don’t know where to start, please give me a call, and I can explain it all to you.

In short, I would send you my management agreement to review so if you have questions, I can answer them for you.  I would also provide you with a property info sheet to fill out for me that will give me pertinent information regarding your property.  You would also need to notify your homeowner’s insurance company to let them know your property will be a rental, because your rate WILL change.

I would come to view your property and then provide a market analysis to see how to price the home, hire a professional photographer, show the property myself, screen the tenants and handle the maintenance issues.  I will always communicate with you on any issues that arise.

The lease is long-term (1 year).

You would be provided an online web account so you can see any invoices or get a copy of your statements at any time.

I can explain the fee schedule when you call, so if you are thinking about renting your property or know someone who is please contact me or have them contact me.
